The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra
The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra is the Northwest's premier big band jazz ensemble. Founded in 1995, the 17-piece big band is made up of some of the most prominent jazz soloists and band leaders in the Pacific Northwest. SRJO’s mission is to promote appreciation of the uniquely American art form of large ensemble jazz and to share the joy of live professional jazz performance.
Help us Keep The Music Playing
Thank you for supporting the Northwest’s premier big band jazz ensemble. Supporters like you make it possible for SRJO to continue sharing the unique art form of big band jazz. Donations large and small enable us to present outstanding performances (such as our most recent concert with the fabulous Anat Cohen), exceptional outreach, and collaborative youth programs. Please consider donating.
Sacred Music COncert
Ellington’s Sacred Concert has become a cherished tradition for the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, many of whom have played this Earshot Jazz event since the very inception of the band – in fact you could say that SRJO was “born” playing the Sacred Music Concert. Tickets available through Earshot Jazz.

Thanks For a Great Season
The 2022-23 Season was a great opportunity for our community to join us in person once again, and it was amazing to see you.
Not only were the concerts back in full swing, we were extremely grateful for the turnout at our 2023 Gala Event. With your generosity we were able to raise over $100,000! This money will help support the orchestra as well as SRJO's music education programs: The Clarence Acox Jazz Scholars and Jazz4Kids.
