The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra

The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra is the Northwest's premier big band jazz ensemble. Founded in 1995, the 17-piece big band is made up of some of the most prominent jazz soloists and band leaders in the Pacific Northwest. SRJO’s mission is to promote appreciation of the uniquely American art form of large ensemble jazz and to share the joy of live professional jazz performance.

SRJO celebrates jazz’s rich history with our season opener homage to the great jazz pioneers with a selection of SRJO audience favorites. This will be a celebration of the past, present, and future of jazz, reminding us of its enduring influence on music and on our culture.

Thanks For a Great Season

The 2022-23 Season was a great opportunity for our community to join us in person once again, and it was amazing to see you.

Not only were the concerts back in full swing, we were extremely grateful for the turnout at our 2023 Gala Event. With your generosity we were able to raise over $100,000!  This money will help support the orchestra as well as SRJO's music education programs: The Clarence Acox Jazz Scholars and Jazz4Kids.
