Abbey Blackwell
Bass
Abbey Blackwell is a multi-faceted bassist in Seattle, WA. She is a member of many scenes in Seattle’s varied music community, including the improvised music, rock, classical, and jazz spheres. Outside of performing and recording, she teaches private lessons, as well as coaches through the Jazz Scholars program. Abbey holds a master's degree in Jazz and Improvised Music and a bachelor’s of music in Double Bass Performance from the University of Washington.
Chris Credit
Saxophone / Flute
Chris Credit holds a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Jazz Performance from Cornish College of the Arts. He performs regularly on saxophones and flute, and doubles on clarinets. With over 20 years of woodwind teaching experience he takes pride and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others.
Denali Williams
Percussion
Denali has been teaching the art and mechanics of playing percussion instruments (including drum set) as well as all forms of music in general for the past 25 years. He strives to unlock the potential within each unique individual. His lesson approach mixes the necessary, universal requirements & techniques of playing percussion instruments with custom-tailored exercises geared toward the individual student’s needs.
Ed Littlefield
Percussion
Ed is a performer, composer, and educator focusing on percussion. He is Lingít and works around the country composing and performing contemporary Alaska Native music for theaters and film. Ed also puts on artist in the schools residencies connecting language arts, music and theater.
Neil Welch
Saxophone / Clarinet
Neil Welch is a woodwind performer and educator focusing on jazz, classical and improvised music on the saxophone and clarinet. With over 15 years of experience as a private educator, Neil works to help students of all ages reveal and cultivate their artistic voice within.
Samantha Boshnack
Trumpet
Samantha Boshnack is a musician/educator with many hats; she is a jazz and classical trumpeter, a classically trained pianist, and an avid composer. As a teacher she strives to find and hone each individual’s passion and aptitude for music. Samantha believes that music is both a fun and creative way to express oneself, as well as a rewarding journey of patience and practice. boshnackmusic.com
