Celebrating Women in Jazz

March 9th | Saturday 5:00pm
Sunset Club

1021 University Street, Seattle, WA

Doors open 4:30pm | Event begins 5:00pm

Join us March 9th for SRJO’s 2024 Gala to celebrate women in jazz. Women have been on the forefront of jazz since its inception but are too often overlooked in such a male-dominated scene. In recognition of International Women’s Day, SRJO strives to uplift and honor the many contributions of women in jazz. It will be a night to remember, featuring musical performances by a quintet of guest artists led by our own Sidney Hauser.

The Gala will benefit SRJO's phenomenal programs, community offerings, and concerts, including in-school education programs, bringing essential jazz and cultural learning opportunities to students and educators in the Greater Seattle Area.

Parking

Street parking is available, including two-hour and four-hour spots around the building and within a 3-block radius. There is a lot connected to the venue that will be used by those who are working on the event and those who paid a bit more for the privilege. We suggest that you give yourself plenty of time to find parking. There is not enough lot parking for everyone, so we appreciate your understanding.

The Quintet

Bandleader Sidney Hauser will be joined by these fantastic local artists.
